SUPER FALCONS DEFEATS COTE D' IVOIRE AT THE AFRICA CUP OF NATIONS

The  Nigerian Female National team began their quest in the ongoing African Cup of Nations on a victorious note . Goals from Oparanozie and Esther Sunday couple with an own goal from the opponent helped the Nigerian team savor a 4 -2 win over the cote d'ivoire side . 

 

The win place the Nigerian side top of their group and improve their chances of qualifying from the group.

 

 

The Nigerian hope to recover the crown which they lost in the previous edition of the championship. The winner will have the chance of representing the continent at the world cup billed for Canada next year.
